Reggeon cutting rules and s-channel unitarity

Journal Article · · Phys. Rev., D, v. 13, no. 4, pp. 1064-1070

It is shown that the cutting rules of Abramovskii, Kancheli and Gribov, for the discontinuties of enhanced Reggeon diagrams follow solely from the requirement that the total discontinuity of a diagram be equal to twice its imaginary part, together with the result that the diffractive discontinuity of the two-Reggeon cut be equal to minus its total discontinuity. This conclusion is already implied by low-order diagrams. That it is consistent to all orders in perturbation theory is proved. (AIP)
