Comment on new solutions to the Callan-Symanzik equations

Recently Ward has suggested that new inhomogeneous terms, due to threshold effects, control the asymptotic solutions for large momenta of the Callan-Symanzik equations. These can be shown on closer scrutiny to be absent.
