NUCLEAR ENERGY STATES OF In$sup 11$$sup 5$

Journal Article · · Physical Review (U.S.) Superseded in part by Phys. Rev. A, Phys. Rev. B: Solid State, Phys. Rev. C, and Phys. Rev. D
The gamma rays of /sup 155Cd and /sup 115m/Cd were investigated by means of scintillation counting and coincidence methods. The K-shell conversion coefficient of the 34-kev gamma ray is measured to be 3.43 plus or minus 0.12, suggesting the transition to be E1 in character and that the 858-kev level in the nucleus of /sup 115/In has positive parity. The gamma rays at /sup 115m/Cd are shown to emanate from /sup 110m/Ag, present as an impurity. (auth)
