ELECTRONIC PARTS IN A HYPERNUCLEAR ENVIRONMENT
Journal Article
·
· IRE Trans. Nuclear Sci.
Tests were conducted to find electronic parts that function properly during and after exposure to a steady-state environment of mixed gamma rays and neutrons such that in 100 hours, 10/sup 11/ ergs/gm(c) and 2.5 x 10/sup 15/ n/cm/ sup 2/ (E/sub n/> 2.9 Mev) would be accumulated. The tests were all conducted with the parts operating. Experimental results are presented and discussed, and specific manufacture recommendations are made. (L.N.N.)
