ON THE THEORY OF TURBULENT PLASMA IN A MAGNETIC FIELD (in Russian)

The coefficient of anomalous electron diffusion across a magnetic field was calculated for a stationary condition in which the distnibution of velocities is such that the wave increments do not disappear, but induce a stationary turbulence in which the wave excitations are compensated by its absorption. It is shown that even with comparably small Couiomb interaction frequencies the stationary oscillation amplitudes are considerably larger than in the quasistationary state investigated by W. Drummond et al. (Phys. Fluids, No. 2, v. 5, 1962) without considerations for wave collisions and interactions. The obtained diffusion coefficient is almost identical to the Baum coefficient. (R.V.J.)
