We study a non-Abelian Chern-Simons gauge theory in 2+1 dimensions with an anomalous magnetic coupling to the scalar field. It is shown that for a {Phi}{sup 2} scalar potential the vortex satisfies a set of Bogomol{close_quote}nyi-type or self-duality equations. {copyright} {ital 1996 American Institute of Physics.}
