This conference was held September 25--28, 1995 in Paris, France. The purpose of this conference was to provide a multidisciplinary forum for exchange of state-of-the-art information on process monitoring and sea ice monitoring. Attention is focused on water quality studies with multispectral instruments and fluorosensors, including model studies, instrumentation, and experiments. Other presentations covered studies of the ocean surface, sea surface temperature, and wind. Individual papers have been processed separately for inclusion in the appropriate data bases.
