Incoherent superfluorescence quantum yields of complex molecules

We propose a method for determining spontaneous emission probabilities upon excitation of incoherent superfluorescence by focused laser radiation whose density exceeds a threshold value. The incoherent superfluorescence is assumed to be related to the desqueezed states generated upon four-wave mixing. The dependences of the incoherent superfluorescence quantum yield on the pumping power are obtained for solutions of four organic molecules. Analysis of these curves shows that the coherent superfluorescence appears because of an increase in the spontaneous emission probability. 12 refs., 3 figs., 1 tab.
