Gamma-gamma and gamma-electron coincidence data have been taken for the transitions observed in the decay of {sup 186}Au to {sup 186}Pt. Sources of {sup 186}Au were produced by the {sup 181}Ta({sup 12}C,7n) reaction at the Holifield Heavy Ion Research Facility and mass separated using UNISOR. We identify several electric monopole (E0) transitions. Of particular interest is a pure E0 transition between two 3{sup +} states. These states are members of two coexisting low-lying K{sup {pi}} = 2{sup +} bands. The results will be discussed in the context of shape coexistence and nuclear deformation.
