A mercury-based ferrite with a 0201-1201 structure: (Hg, Pr)Sr{sub 4}Fe{sub 2}O{sub 9}

The mercury-based ferrite (Hg, Pr)Sr{sub 4}Fe{sub 2}O{sub 9} is studied by XRPD and HREM. The Hg{sub 0.3}Pr{sub 0.6}Sr{sub 4}Fe{sub 2}O{sub 9} structure is confirmed as of {open_quotes}0101-1201{close_quotes} type and it is shown that the ordering of Hg-Pr and its oxygen neighboring framework takes place.
