Analysis of {ital D}{sup 0}{r_arrow}{ital K{bar K}X} decays

Using data taken with the CLEO II detector, we have studied the decays of the {ital D}{sup 0} to {ital K}{sup +}{ital K}{sup {minus}}, {ital K}{sup 0}{ital {bar K}}{sup 0}, {ital K}{sup 0}{sub {ital S}}{ital K}{sup 0}{sub {ital S}}{ital K}{sup 0}{sub {ital S}}, {ital K}{sup 0}{sub {ital S}}{ital K}{sup 0}{sub {ital S}}{pi}{sup 0}, {ital K}{sup +}{ital K}{sup {minus}}{pi}{sup 0}. We present significantly improved results for {ital B}({ital D}{sup 0}{r_arrow}{ital K}{sup +}{ital K}{sup {minus}})=(0.454{plus_minus}0.028{plus_minus}0.035){percent}, {ital B}({ital D}{sup 0}{r_arrow}{ital K}{sup 0}{ital {bar K}}{sup 0})=(0.054{plus_minus}0.012{plus_minus}0.010){percent}, and {ital B}({ital D}{sup 0}{r_arrow}{ital K}{sup 0}{sub {ital S}}{ital K}{sup 0}{sub {ital S}}{ital K}{sup 0}{sub {ital S}})=(0.074{plus_minus}0.010{plus_minus}0.015){percent}, where the first errors are statistical and the second errors are the estimate of our systematic uncertainty. We also present a new upper limit {ital B}({ital D}{sup 0}{r_arrow}{ital K}{sup 0}{sub {ital S}}{ital K}{sup 0}{sub {ital S}}{pi}{sup 0}){lt}0.059{percent} at the 90{percent} confidence level and the first measurement of {ital B}({ital D}{sup 0}{r_arrow}{ital K}{sup +}{ital K}{sup {minus}}{pi}{sup 0})=(0.14{plus_minus}0.04){percent}. {copyright} {ital 1996 The American Physical Society.}
