We present results from a search for anomalous {ital WW} and {ital WZ} production in {bar {ital pp}} collisions at {radical}{ital s}=1.8 TeV. We used {bar {ital pp}}{r_arrow}{ital e}{nu}{ital jjX} events observed during the 1992{endash}1993 run of the Fermilab Tevatron collider, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 13.7{plus_minus}0.7 pb{sup {minus}1}. A fit to the transverse momentum spectrum of the {ital W} boson yields direct limits on the {ital CP}-conserving anomalous {ital WW}{gamma} and {ital WWZ} coupling parameters of {minus}0.9{lt}{Delta}{kappa}{lt}1.1 (with {lambda}=0) and {minus}0.6{lt}{lambda}{lt}0.7 (with {Delta}{kappa}=0) at the 95{percent} confidence level, for a form factor scale {Lambda}=1.5 TeV, assuming that the {ital WW}{gamma} and {ital WWZ} coupling parameters are equal. {copyright} {ital 1996 The American Physical Society.}
