Our present understanding of CP violation is severely limited by the existence of observations of the effect in only the K{sup 0}{sub L} decay to two pions. With just two (complex) observables to fit, {epsilon} and {epsilon}` is not surprising that there are a plethora of theories which are able to fit the data. I will discuss the possibilities for discrimination between these theories provided by the electric dipole moments of nucleons, nuclei and atoms.
