A cloudy bag model for the S-D wave KN system

The cloudy bag quark model in used to study low energy interactions in the coupled KN, {Sigma}{pi}, {Lambda}{pi} system. The parameters of the model are determined by fitting scattering and reaction cross sections, mass spectra, and branching ratios. The T-matrix elements on the complex energy plane are visualized with 3-D surface plots. Cross sections are computed, the resonance structure of the {Lambda}(1405), {Sigma}(1385), and {Lambda}(1520) are studied, and the shift and width of kaonic hydrogen are calculated and compared to other calculations and data. A comparison with potential models is made.
