Properties of residues in {sup 70}Ge + {sup 27}Al {sup nat}Ti reactions at E/A = 35 MeV

Journal Article · · Bulletin of the American Physical Society
OSTI ID:387013
Residues and fragments with 2 < Z < 34 were detected at 3{degrees} - 5{degrees} in the reverse-kinematics reactions {sup 70}Ge + {sup 27}Al, {sup nat}Ti at E/A = 35 MeV. Associated light charged particles and fragments with Z < 18 were simultaneously measured with an 80- element phoswich/CsI array covering > 90% of the solid angle between 6.5{degrees} and 46{degrees}. Correlations between residue velocity, residue charge, and charged-particle multiplicity will be presented along with azimuthal distributions of particles and fragments with respect to the plane defined by the beam axis and the residue velocity vector.
