Electrons in liquid helium become trapped in bubbles from which the liquid is excluded. By applying a negative pressure to the helium, we are able to make these bubbles explode. The pressure at which this occurs is in reasonable agreement with theoretical expectations. {copyright} {ital 1996 The American Physical Society.}
