We have measured five-photon decay of orthopositronium ({ital o}-Ps) and obtained the branching ratio of {ital o}-Ps{r_arrow}5{gamma} to {ital o}-Ps{r_arrow}3{gamma} as [2.2{sup +2.6}{sub {minus}1.6}(stat.){plus_minus}0.5(syst.)]{times}10{sup {minus}6}, being consistent with the lowest-order QED calculation. Hence the five-photon decay process does not account for the discrepancy between the experimentally obtained decay rate for {ital o}-Ps and the theoretically calculated decay rate for {ital o}-Ps{r_arrow}3{gamma}. {copyright} {ital 1996 The American Physical Society.}
