(OGD: San Marino, CA), a consortium of U.S., European, and Mexican private investors say they will build a world-scale methanol plant at Matamoros, Mexico, across the Rio Grande from Brownsville, TX. The 860,000-m.t./year Mexican Methanol (Meximet) plant is to be onstream in mid-1997.
