Technical graduates need to understand modern instrumentation and control systems and also have good communication and teamwork skills. The technical education should provide students with instruction on modern computer-based instrumentation and data acquisition and control systems. However, students also need to develop group problem-solving, project planning, and professional skills. This paper will discuss the use of team-based instrumentation and control projects to develop students` communication, professional, and technical skills.
