Competition between the ground and first excited {sup 5}Li states by the {sup 6}Li({sup 3}He, {alpha}{alpha}p) reaction at E({sup 3}He)=2.0 and 2.2 MeV

The {sup 3}He+{sup 6}Li {r_arrow} {alpha}+{alpha}+p reaction was studied by detecting the {alpha}{alpha} coincidences at 2.0 and 2.2 MeV incident {sup 3}He energies. The data analysis shows the contributions of both the ground and first excited {sup 5}Li states. The measured excitation energy and width of the 1/2{sup {minus}} {sup 5}Li state are in line with the values deduced by the same reaction at incident energies of 1.65 and 1.7 MeV. Therefore, in the 1.65 {divided_by}2.2 MeV range the spectroscopic parameters do not seem to depend on the {sup 3}He bombarding energy. 21 refs., 3 figs., 2 tabs.
