Your guidance is needed for future R&D programs
- Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton, NY (United States)
Brookhaven National Laboratory is now working with the National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA) to develop a multi-year research and development plan for oil heat, to be funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and NORA. The research plan will prioritize future oilheat research programs that can achieve many important advances for oilheating equipment and service methods such as improved reliability of oilheating equipment; advanced service tools for technicians and many other important objectives. These advances are essential for oil to continue to successfully compete against natural gas, propane, electric heat pumps, water source heat pumps, and all other home energy sources. The R&D programs will form the technical basis for continued and expanded use of distillate fueloil in residential and commercial applications long into the future.
