Proton-proton correlation functions for {sup 36}Ar + {sup 45}Sc at E/A = 80, 120 and 160 MeV

Journal Article · · Bulletin of the American Physical Society
OSTI ID:374823
Coincident protons from collisions of {sup 36}Ar + {sup 45}Sc at beam energies E/A=80, 120 and 160 MeV have been measured with a high resolution hodoscope. The MSU 4{pi} Array provided full event characterization and the analysis concentrates on central collisions. Presentation of results will include the dependence of momentum. Directional correlation functions will also be shown for the 3 beam energies. Comparisons of the measured results with BUU will show a systematic divergence between theory and experiment.
