Study of the decays B {yields} {psi}{rho}({pi})

B decays which are Cabibo and color suppressed, such as B {yields} {psi}{rho} and B {yields} {psi}{pi}, provide crucial tests of the understanding of rare decays of B-flavored mesons within the framework of the Standard Model and may play a role in discovery of direct CP violation in charged B decays. The decay modes B {yields} {psi}{rho} and B {yields} {psi}{pi} have been studied with a data sample of {approximately} 2fb{sup {minus}1} accumulated at the {Upsilon}(4s) with the CLEO II detector. Results on branching fractions will be reported together with their implications for the theoretical understanding of these decays.
