Rotationally resolved photoelectron spectra can provide much insight into the underlying dynamics of molecular photoionization, one of the simplest of molecular fragmentation processes. Resonance enhanced multiphoton ionization, coupled with high-resolution photoelectron spectroscopy, and zero-kinetic-energy (ZEKE) photo-electron spectroscopy are being used to obtain such photoelectron spectra for diatomic and small polyaromic molecules. In this talk we will review some results of our calculations of rotationally resolved photoelectron spectra at near-threshold energies for several molecules, e.g., SH, V{sub 2}, and H{sub 2}CO. These calculated spectra and their comparison with experiment will serve to illustrate the rich underlying dynamics of state-specific studies of molecular photoionization.
