The effects of SAR on the performance of ZSM-5 FCC additive

Conference ·
OSTI ID:370752
As the silica-to-alumina ratio of the ZSM-5 crystal of an FCC octane additive is increased, the incremental ratios of octane/LPG, octane/gasoline loss, C{sub 4}=/C{sub 3}=, and MON/RON increase. Less relative light gasoline is experienced as the silica-to-alumina ratio is increased. These phenomena are consistent with a mechanism in which olefin intermediate cracking is reduced relative to isomerization.
