Proceedings: Workshop on condensate polishing
This Workshop is sponsored by EPRI approximately every fifteen months to facilitate technical exchange on new technologies and data as well as on practical issues in the application of condensate polishing mostly in nuclear plants. This year`s Workshop was particularly timely in that it coincided with the publication of the first revision to EPRI`s Condensate Polishing Guidelines for PWR and BWR Plants (TR-101942-R1). As always, the success of this Workshop stemmed in large part from the willingness of utility industry representatives to openly exchange their recent experiences and to actively participate in the discussions. Forty-four papers were presented in five sessions, with topics including Current Issues, Iron Control, Deep Bed Polisher Systems, Powdered Resin/Filter Demin Systems, and Ion Exchange Performance.
