Network design with column generation

Conference ·
OSTI ID:35908
In this paper, we consider the design of telecommunication networks using links with differing capacities. The design is based on origin-destination paths. The paths are derived by a shortest path column generation procedure. This for mutation is compared to a more familiar link based network design formulation. Implementation details and computational experience are discussed.
