OSTI ID:354827
This report includes the results of research on the physical, thermal and hydraulic properties of bentonite grouts and bentonite grouts with additives. Results from previous research conducted on bentonite grouts by Remund et al (1993) are presented along with results from current research and analysis. Results of this research are of particular interest for guidance on how to obtain adequate sealing of vertical ground heat exchanger boreholes used in geothermal heat pump applications, while maximizing the heat transfer capability of the heat exchanger. 43 figs., 35 tabs.
