EPA`s series of reforms have fundamentally changed the Superfund program. Today, the program is working better than ever -- cleaning up hundreds of hazardous waste sites and protecting public health and the environment. EPA remains committed to completing these reforms and fully integrating them into its base program operations. The report highlights Superfund accomplishments through FY98, showing how EPA is cleaning up sites faster, fairer, and more efficiently. The data reported are current through September of 1998 unless otherwise noted.
