Yukon Development Corporation (the Corporation) is a Yukon Crown corporation originally established in 1986 principally to acquire and operate the assets on Northern Canada Power Commission (NCPC) located in the Yukon. In 1993, the Corporation`s mandate was restricted by government to energy related activities. The Corporation`s major activity is the operation of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Yukon Energy Corporation (YEC), which acquired the assets of the NCPC in 1987. YEC`s principal activities are the generation and transmission of electrical energy in the Yukon. This annual report provides a business review, financial reviews and analysis, and financial statements.
