Tee Ryan/Holmes Technology offers a method to recover propane plus liquids, or ethane plus liquids, from natural gas that contains a high concentration of CO{sub 2}, using equipment common to most any gas plant. The CO{sub 2}/methane mixture recovered can be reinjected into the formation, replacing purchased CO{sub 2}, or it can be further refined into a high purity CO{sub 2} product, approximately 95% pure, and a fairly clean fuel gas with less than 6% CO{sub 2} content.
