Presented at Mastering the Subsurface Through Technology Innovation, Partnerships and Collaboration: Carbon Storage and Oil and Natural Gas Technologies Review Meeting, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, August 13–16, 2018. A techno‑economic study was conducted to evaluate the carbon value chain in North Dakota. The project included collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy to develop methods for assessing CO2 storage resources in residual oil zones (ROZs). In addition, the seismic processing workflow was improved to enhance data quality and interpretation.
