Wavelength Scan Results of VULCAN Chopper

Technical Report ·
DOI:https://doi.org/10.2172/3007858· OSTI ID:3007858
We scanned VULCAN chopper by different wavelength band center and band width. Three commonly used settings 60, 30, and 20 Hz are investigated for existing detector banks. The full scanned results in wavelength unit are included in this report. From the result, one can decide what chopper setting can be used to meet experiment requirement while avoiding time-of-flight frame overlapping or leakage, which generate artifacts in collected neutron data.
