Measurement of the π·0βπΎββ’π+β’π+β’πβ branching fraction and search for π·0 β π+β’πββ’π+β’πβ and π·0 βπΎ+β’πΎββ’π+β’πβ decays at Belle
We present a study of the rare charm meson decays π·0 βπΎ+β’πΎββ’π+β’πβ, π+β’πββ’π+β’πβ, and πΎββ’π+β’π+β’πβ using a 942ββfbβ1 dataset collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy π+β’πβ collider. We identify π·0 candidates via the charge of the pion from π·*+ βπ·0β’π+ decays and normalize the branching fractions to π·0 β πΎββ’π+β’πββ’π+ decays. The branching fraction for decay π·0 β πΎββ’π+β’π+β’πβ is measured to be (39.6 Β± 4.5β(stat) Β± 2.9β(syst)) Γ 10β7, with the dielectron mass in the π/π mass region 675 < ππβ’π < 875ββMeV/β’π2. We also search for π·0 β βββ‘β(β²)+β‘π+β’πβ (β(β²) = πΎ, π) decays with the dielectron mass near the π and π resonances, and away from these resonances for the πΎ+β’πΎββ’π+β’πβ and π+β’πββ’π+β’πβ modes. For these modes, we find no significant signals and set 90% confidence level upper limits on their branching fractions at the πͺβ‘(10β7) level.
