This project advanced the development of a novel wind-driven direct air capture (WEDAC) system for removing carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere. Our research focused on combining passive air contact with electrothermal desorption using specially designed carbon fiber modules, aiming to provide a scalable, low-cost, and energy-efficient alternative to conventional carbon capture systems.
