Two-loop QCD corrections to semileptonic b decays at an intermediate recoil

We present complete O({alpha}{sub s}{sup 2}) corrections to the decay b{r_arrow}cl{nu}{sub l} at the point where the invariant mass of the leptons {radical} (q{sup 2}) equals the c quark mass. We use this result, together with previously obtained corrections at the ends of the q{sup 2} spectrum, to estimate the total width of the semileptonic b{r_arrow}c decay with O({alpha}{sub s}{sup 2}) accuracy, essential for the {vert_bar}V{sub cb}{vert_bar} determination. thinsp thinsp {copyright} {ital 1998} {ital The American Physical Society}
