The lifetime of {Lambda}{sup 0}{sub {ital b}} is measured using the semileptonic decay {Lambda}{sup 0}{sub {ital b}}{r_arrow}{Lambda}{sup +}{sub {ital c}}l{sup {minus}}{bar {nu}}, where the {Lambda}{sup +}{sub {ital c}} is reconstructed through its decay {Lambda}{sup +}{sub {ital c}}{r_arrow}{ital pK{sup {minus}}}{pi}{sup +}. The data were collected by the CDF detector at the Tevatron Collider during 1992{endash}1995 and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 110pb{sup {minus}1} of {ital p{bar p}} collisions at {radical}{ital s}=1.8 TeV. From a fit to the decay length distribution of the {Lambda}{sub {ital c}}-lepton system from 197{plus_minus}25 signal events, the lifetime of {Lambda}{sup 0}{sub {ital b}} is measured to be 1.32{plus_minus}0.15{plus_minus}0.07 ps. {copyright} {ital 1996 The American Physical Society.}
