{ital CP} asymmetry in {ital b}{r_arrow}{ital sl{sup +}l{sup {minus}}} decay

Using the experimental upper bound on the neutron electric dipole moment and the experimental result on the {ital b}{r_arrow}{ital s}{gamma} branching ratio we have calculated the {ital CP} asymmetry and {Gamma}{sup 2HDM}({ital b}{r_arrow}{ital sl{sup +}l{sup {minus}}})/{Gamma}{sup SM}({ital b}{r_arrow}{ital sl{sup +}l{sup {minus}}}). It is shown that in the invariant dilepton mass {ital q}{sup 2} region ({ital m}{sub {psi}}{sup {prime}}{sup 2}+0.2 GeV{sup 2}){lt}{ital q}{sup 2}{lt}{ital m}{sup 2}{sub {ital b}} the {ital CP} asymmetry is maximal and quite detectable. {copyright} {ital 1996 The American Physical Society.}
