The lifetimes of the {ital B}{sup {minus}} and {bar {ital B}}{sup 0} mesons are measured using the partially reconstructed semileptonic decays {bar {ital B}}{r_arrow}{ital D}l{sup {minus}}{nu}{ital X}, where {ital D} is either a {ital D}{sup 0} or {ital D}{sup {asterisk}+} meson. The data were collected by the CDF detector at the Fermilab Tevatron collider during 1992{endash}1993 and correspond to 19.3 pb{sup {minus}1} of {bar {ital p}}{ital p} collisions at {radical}{ital s}=1.8 TeV. We measure the decay length distributions and find the lifetimes to be {ital r}({ital B}{sup {minus}})=1.56{plus_minus}0.13{plus_minus}0.06 ps and {ital r}({bar {ital B}}{sup 0})=1.54{plus_minus}0.08{plus_minus}0.06 ps, and the ratio of lifetimes to be {ital r}({ital B}{sup {minus}})/{ital r}({bar {ital B}}{sup 0})=1.01{plus_minus}0.11{plus_minus}0.02, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic.
