Search for {ital {tilde W}{sub {bold 1}}}{ital {bold {tilde Z}}}{sub {bold 2}} production via trilepton final states in {ital p{bar p}} collisions at {ital s}{bold =1.8} TeV
We have searched for associated production of the lightest chargino {tilde {ital W}}{sub 1} and next-to-lightest neutralino {tilde {ital Z}}{sub 2} of the minimal supersymmetric standard model in {bar {ital pp}} collisions at {radical}{ital s}=1.8 TeV using the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. Data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 12.5{plus_minus}0.7pb{sup {minus}1} were examined for events containing three isolated leptons. No evidence for {tilde {ital W}}{sub 1}{tilde {ital Z}}{sub 2} pair production was found. Limits on {sigma}({tilde {ital W}}{sub 1}{tilde {ital Z}}{sub 2}){ital B}({tilde {ital W}}{sub 1}{r_arrow}{ital l}{nu}{tilde {ital Z}}{sub 1}){ital B}({tilde {ital Z}}{sub 2}{r_arrow}{ital ll} K{tilde {ital Z}}{sub 1}) are presented. {copyright} {ital 1996 The American Physical Society.}
