Complex quantum structure of nonclassical superposition states and quantum instability in resonance fluorescence

It is shown that the complex quantum structure of nonclassical superposition states and strong atom-field entanglement are reflected in instability of resonance fluorescence driven by optical field being initially excited into the superposition of two phase shifted coherent states. {copyright} {ital 1996 The American Physical Society.}
