Theoretical analysis of the cross sections for isomer excitation in the radiative capture of neutrons with energies 0.3 - 0.7 MeV-by {sup 116}Sn, {sup 122}Sn, and {sup 124}Sn isotopes and in the inelastic scattering of such neutrons by isotope {sup 117}Sn is performed. The statistical and cascade-evaporation models are used. A consistent description of experimental data was obtained for three excitation functions. For the reaction {sup 122}Sn(n,{gamma}){sup 123m}Sn, discrepancy between the experimental and theoretical cross sections is as large as 20%. 10 refs., 4 figs., 1 tab.
