Title: JINR Tau/charm Factory: Status and perspectives

A review of the Tau/charm Factory in JINR (Dubna) is presented. The structure, the working regime, the parameters, and the open issues of the injector system are reviewed. A versatile magnet lattice is used in the Tau/charm collider which can realize a conventional flat beam scheme and a monochromatization or crossing angle scheme. The list of parameters of the Tau/charm Factory is given. Technical solutions for magnet elements and their power supplies used in the booster and in the collider, for RF power supplies of the collider, and for the vacuum system of the periodic cells are presented. {copyright} {ital 1996 American Institute of Physics.}
