Lattice QCD at one teraflop

Several dozen physicsts and computer engineers have formed a collaboration which proposes to construct a massively parallel computer capable of running lattice QCD programs at a speed of one teraflop. This talk will highlight some recent progress in lattice QCD, extrapolate to what will be possible on the QCD teraflop computer, and discuss the status of the project.
