This talk will demonstrate the usefulness of a spread sheet program applied to log analysis in complex lithology and shaly sand formations. The Log Tools Spreadsheet performs standard porosity, water saturation, and single phase reserve computations as well as generating interactive Pickett plots and lithology crossplots. Multiple water saturation algorithms can also be compared to aid in the analyst`s decision making process. The flexibility of the program allows the analyst to generate multiple {open_quotes}what if{close_quotes} scenarios to get the best match of volumetric reserves to EURs.
