Three case studies of commercial and business recycling programs assisted by the Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency in New York are given. The Agency provided assistance in identifying markets, cost-benefit analyses of options, selection of equipment for handling recyclables, coordinating recycling efforts among several companies, and auditing waste. Materials recycled included industrial by-products, ordinary solid wastes, plastics, and waste water. Cost savings of recycling measures are provided.
