Loesche GmbH has for decades been involved in the research and development of coal processing plants with roller grinding mills. By intensive research work the engineers and technicians at Loesche GmbH, Duesseldorf, have successfully provided new coal processing technologies for the varied needs of industry. Coal processing plants with LOESCHE roller grinding mills for power stations have been built by Loesche GmbH for the past 60 years and are operated throughout the world. The paper describes the Loesche mill and module system, the Loesche roller grinding mills for various solid fuels, and coal grinding plant configuration.
