A direct test of the Standard Model by searching for anomalous {ital Z}{ital Z}{gamma} and {ital Z}{gamma}{gamma} couplings is presented. We analyze {ital p}{anti {ital p}}{implies}{ital l}{ital l}{gamma}+{ital X}, ({ital l}={ital e},{mu}) events at {radical}{ital s}=1.8 TeV with the DO/ detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. A fit to the transverse energy spectrum of the photon in the signal events, based on the data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 13.9 pb{sup -}{sup 1} (13.3 pb{sup -}{sup 1}) for the electron (muon) channel, yields the following 95{percent} CL limits on the anomalous {ital C}{ital P}-conserving {ital Z}{ital Z}{gamma} couplings: -1.9{much_gt}{ital h}{sup {ital z}}{sub 30}{much_gt}1.8 ({ital h}{sup {ital z}}{sub 40}=0), and -0.5{much_gt}{ital h}{sup {ital Z}}{sub 40}0.5 ({ital h}{sup {ital Z}}{sub 30}=0), for a form-factor scale {lambda}=500 GeV. Limits on the {ital Z}{sub {gamma}{gamma}} couplings and {ital C}{ital P}-violating couplings are also discussed. {copyright}1995 American Institute of Physics
