Search for {ital W} boson pair production in dilepton decay modes at DO/

The results of a search for {ital W} boson pair production in {ovr {ital p}{ital p}} collisions at {radical}{ital s}=1.8 TeV with subsequent decay to dilepton ({ital e}{sup +}{ital e}{sup -},{ital e}{sup {plus_minus}}{mu}{minus_plus}, and {mu}{sup +}{mu}{sup -}) channels are presented. For an integrated luminosity of 14 {ital p}{ital b}{sup -}{sup 1}, one event is observed with an expected background of 0.56{plus_minus}0.13 events. Limits on the anomalous coupling parameters, assuming {delta}{kappa}{sub {gamma}}={delta}{kappa}{sub {ital Z}} and {lambda}{sub {gamma}}={lambda}{sub {ital Z}}, are -2.6{much_gt}{delta}{kappa}{much_gt}2.8 and -2.2{much_gt}{lambda}{much_gt}2.2 at 95{percent} confidence level. {copyright} 1995 American Institute of Physics
