The problem of a fluid flow in a pipe has received the attention of many scientists both for its mathematical and practical intrinsic interest. Indeed, even though the literature concerning the well posedness for incompressible viscous fluids in rich of interesting results, that one relative to the compressible viscous fluids is, on the contrary, ver poor. Here we wish to point out some essential differences which arise at once in setting the well posedness problem. We hope that this will shed more light upon the problem.
